To assemble the Breville VHB113, attach the blending shaft to the motor body by aligning the arrows and turning clockwise until it clicks into place. Ensure all parts are clean and dry before use.
First, check if the appliance is properly plugged in and that the power outlet is functioning. Ensure the blending shaft is correctly attached. If the device still doesn't turn on, inspect the power cord for any visible damage.
Detach the blending shaft from the motor body. Wash the blending shaft in warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly. Wipe the motor body with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor body in water or any other liquid.
To prevent overheating, avoid running the blender continuously for more than 1 minute. Allow it to cool down for a few minutes between uses, especially when blending thick mixtures.
The Breville VHB113 is not designed to crush ice. Attempting to do so may damage the blades or motor. It is recommended to use a suitable appliance designed for ice crushing.
The blending blade is not user-replaceable. If the blade becomes dull or damaged, you will need to replace the entire blending shaft. Contact Breville customer support for assistance.
Unusual noises may indicate that the blending shaft is not correctly attached or that there is a foreign object in the mixture. Stop the blender immediately, check the attachment, and ensure the mixture is free of obstructions.
To ensure longevity, regularly clean the hand blender after each use, avoid blending hard or frozen items, and store it in a dry place. Always handle the appliance with care and avoid dropping it.
It is normal for new appliances to emit a slight odor during their initial uses due to the burning off of manufacturing residues. If the smell persists or is strong, discontinue use and contact Breville support.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the blending shaft after each use, inspecting the power cord for damage, and ensuring that all parts are dry before storage. Perform a thorough cleaning and inspection monthly.
