The Bostitch TU216-2330 Pinner is compatible with 23-gauge headless pins ranging from 1/2 inch to 1-1/4 inches in length.
First, disconnect the pinner from the air supply. Then, open the magazine and remove any jammed pins carefully using pliers. Ensure the path is clear before reconnecting the air supply.
The recommended operating air pressure for the Bostitch TU216-2330 Pinner is between 70 and 120 PSI (pounds per square inch).
It is recommended to add a few drops of pneumatic tool oil into the air inlet before each use to ensure smooth operation and maintain the tool’s longevity.
Regular maintenance includes checking for air leaks, cleaning the tool after each use, lubricating as needed, and inspecting the magazine for any signs of wear or damage.
While the pinner is suitable for softwoods and light materials, it may not be effective on very hard materials. Always test on a scrap piece to ensure proper performance.
Inconsistent firing can be caused by incorrect air pressure, dirty air supply, or worn-out parts. Check air pressure, clean the tool, and inspect for any damaged components.
Always wear safety glasses, disconnect the tool from the air supply when not in use, never point the tool at yourself or others, and ensure the work area is clear of bystanders.
The Bostitch TU216-2330 Pinner does not have a depth adjustment feature. To control the depth, adjust the air pressure or try using different length pins.
Check all fittings and connections for tightness, inspect the O-rings and seals for damage, and replace any worn or damaged parts to resolve air leaks.
