To load nails, first disconnect the tool from the air supply. Open the magazine by pulling back the pusher. Place the nails into the magazine with the pointed ends facing downward. Slide the pusher back into place, ensuring it locks securely.
Ensure the air supply is connected and at the recommended pressure of 70-120 psi. Check for any jammed nails in the magazine or the nose. Clear any obstructions, and ensure the safety trigger is fully depressed when firing.
It is recommended to apply a few drops of pneumatic tool oil into the air inlet before each use to ensure smooth operation and prevent wear.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the feed system, checking for any worn or damaged parts, lubricating the tool, and ensuring all screws are tight. It's also important to inspect the air hose and fittings for leaks.
While it's best to use Bostitch nails for optimal performance, other brands of 15.5 GA Flooring Staples may work. Ensure they match the specified size and type in the user manual.
Disconnect the air supply. Open the magazine and remove any remaining nails. Use a needle-nose plier to carefully remove the jammed nail from the nose area. Reassemble the tool and reload nails.
The recommended operating pressure is between 70 and 120 psi. Adjust your compressor to this range for safe and effective use.
The Bostitch MIIIFN Nailer does not have a depth adjustment feature. Ensure the air pressure is correctly set and adjust the flooring thickness gauge to maintain consistent nail depth.
Ensure the tool is properly maintained and lubricated. Check that the trigger mechanism is functioning correctly. Avoid bump firing and make sure to release the trigger fully between shots.
Always wear safety goggles and hearing protection. Disconnect the tool from the air supply before loading nails or performing maintenance. Keep hands away from the nose area when connecting to the air supply.
