To load staples, first ensure the stapler is disconnected from any power source. Open the magazine by pressing the release button at the rear. Insert a strip of staples into the magazine with the pointed ends facing downward, then close the magazine until it clicks into place.
Disconnect the stapler from the power source. Open the magazine and remove any visible jammed staples. Use needle-nose pliers if necessary. Ensure the magazine is clear before reloading staples and closing it securely.
The staple depth can be adjusted using the depth control knob located near the nose of the stapler. Turn the knob clockwise to increase the depth and counterclockwise to decrease it, allowing for precise control over staple penetration.
Regularly clean the stapler's exterior and magazine with a dry cloth. Lubricate moving parts lightly with a non-detergent oil designed for pneumatic tools. Check for worn or damaged parts and replace them immediately.
Ensure the stapler is connected to a power source and that there are staples loaded. Check for any jams or obstructions in the magazine. Verify that the safety contact is fully depressed against the work surface.
Disconnect from the power source, then open the magazine. Remove any jammed or bent staples using pliers. Clear the magazine path and reload with fresh staples before resuming use.
The Bostitch D61ADC Stapler is designed to use specific staple sizes. Refer to the user manual for compatible staple types and sizes to ensure proper operation and avoid jams or damage.
The recommended air pressure for optimal performance is between 70 and 120 psi. Operating outside this range can lead to improper stapling or damage to the tool.
Parts should be inspected regularly, and any worn or damaged components should be replaced immediately. Regularly scheduled maintenance checks can prevent unexpected breakdowns and extend the tool's lifespan.
Store the stapler in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Ensure it is disconnected from any power source and the magazine is empty. Use a protective case to prevent dust accumulation and physical damage.
