To start the Bostitch CWC156 Compressor, ensure the power switch is in the 'Off' position, plug it into a grounded outlet, and then switch it 'On'. To stop, simply switch the power to 'Off' and unplug the unit if not in use.
Check if the compressor is properly plugged in and that the power switch is turned 'On'. Ensure that the circuit breaker or fuse is not tripped. If the problem persists, inspect the power cord for any damage.
Change the oil every 200-300 hours of operation or every three months, whichever comes first. Use a high-quality air compressor oil for best performance.
To drain the tank, turn off the compressor and release the air pressure. Open the drain valve at the bottom of the tank and let the moisture drain completely. Close the valve once the tank is empty.
An excessively high pressure build-up may be due to a faulty pressure switch or pressure relief valve. Check these components and replace them if necessary.
Continuous running could be due to leaks in the system, a faulty pressure switch, or an incorrect pressure setting. Inspect for leaks, check the switch, and ensure settings are correct.
Ensure the compressor is placed on a level surface and not touching any walls. Consider using a rubber mat to dampen vibrations and regularly check for loose parts.
Always wear safety goggles and ear protection. Never exceed the maximum pressure rating, and ensure all connections are secure before operation.
Remove the air filter cover, take out the filter, and wash it with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly, let it dry completely, and reinstall it.
Regularly check the oil level, inspect for air leaks, clean the air filter, drain the tank of moisture, and ensure all components are securely fastened.
