To load nails, disconnect the tool from the air supply, open the magazine by pulling back the feeder shoe, and insert the nails into the magazine. Ensure they are aligned correctly and then close the magazine securely.
Check all connections for tightness, inspect the O-rings and seals for damage, and ensure that the air supply hose is not leaking. Replace any damaged parts as necessary.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the exterior with a dry cloth, lubricating moving parts with pneumatic tool oil, and checking for worn or damaged parts.
Ensure that the air pressure is within the recommended range, the nails are correctly loaded, and the safety contact is fully depressed. Check for any jams or obstructions in the firing mechanism.
Disconnect the air supply, open the magazine, and carefully remove the jammed nail using needle-nose pliers. Inspect the area for debris and ensure the path is clear before resuming use.
The BRT130 Nailer is designed to work with 18-gauge brad nails ranging from 5/8 inch to 2 inches in length. Always use manufacturer-recommended nails for optimal performance.
It's recommended to add a few drops of pneumatic tool oil into the air inlet daily or before each use to ensure smooth operation and prevent internal wear.
Double firing may be caused by incorrect air pressure or a faulty trigger mechanism. Adjust the air pressure to within recommended levels and inspect the trigger assembly for proper function.
The depth of drive can be adjusted using the depth adjustment wheel located near the trigger. Turn the wheel to increase or decrease the depth of the nail penetration.
Always wear safety goggles, disconnect the air supply when not in use, keep fingers away from the trigger when loading or unloading, and ensure the work area is clear of bystanders.
