To install the mount, first locate the studs in your wall using a stud finder. Mark the desired height and attach the mount to the wall using the provided screws and anchors. Ensure it's level before tightening. Then, attach the TV brackets to the back of your television and hang the TV on the wall mount, securing it with the locking mechanism.
If the mount is not level, loosen the screws slightly and adjust the mount until it is level. Use a spirit level to ensure accuracy, then re-tighten the screws.
It is not recommended to mount the TV on drywall without studs, as it may not support the weight safely. Use wall anchors designed for drywall or, preferably, locate and use wall studs.
A good rule of thumb is to have the center of the TV screen at eye level when seated. This is typically around 42-48 inches from the floor to the center of the TV.
You will need a drill, a screwdriver, a spirit level, a stud finder, and a measuring tape. A pencil for marking is also helpful.
The mount is designed to be universal and fits most TVs from 22 to 42 inches that have compatible VESA patterns. Always check your TV's VESA specifications before installation.
Ensure that the tilt lock mechanism is not engaged. If it is, release the lock and adjust the angle to your preference, then re-engage the lock to secure it.
After mounting, gently tug the TV to check if it is secure. Ensure all screws are tightened and the locking mechanism is engaged. Double-check the stability before considering the installation complete.
Periodically check that all screws and bolts are tight and that the mount is securely attached to the wall. Inspect for any signs of wear or damage and address any issues promptly.
First, ensure the TV is supported, then disengage the locking mechanism on the mount. Carefully lift the TV off the mount brackets and place it on a safe surface.
