Blastrac BMG-720PRO Operating Manual

The Blastrac BMG-720PRO Grinder features a triple head system for effective grinding, a variable speed control, and a dust collection system to maintain a clean working environment. It is designed for medium to large-sized applications.
Routine maintenance includes checking and replacing worn tools, inspecting belts and seals for wear, cleaning the dust collector, and lubricating moving parts as needed. Regularly inspect electrical components for safety.
First, check the power supply and ensure the grinder is plugged in correctly. Verify that the emergency stop is not engaged. Check for blown fuses or tripped circuit breakers and inspect the grinder's connections and wiring.
Ensure the grinder is equipped with the appropriate tools for the material being worked on. Adjust the machine speed according to the surface type and apply consistent pressure. Regularly check the condition of the grinding tools.
Turn off and unplug the grinder. Wait for the machine to cool down. Use the appropriate tool to release the tool holder and remove the existing grinding tools. Attach the new tools securely before reassembling the holder.
Check if the grinding tools are worn unevenly or improperly installed. Inspect the floor surface for inconsistencies. Ensure the grinder is level and adjust if necessary. Verify that the speed settings are appropriate for the surface.
Always wear protective gear, including eye protection, ear protection, and dust masks. Ensure the workspace is well-ventilated and free of obstructions. Follow lockout/tagout procedures when performing maintenance.
Attach the vacuum hose to the dust port on the grinder. Ensure all connections are secure and check the dust collection system for any blockages or required maintenance before operation.
Check if the grinding tools are balanced and properly installed. Inspect the floor surface for inconsistencies and ensure the grinder is level. Verify that all bolts and screws are tightened securely.
Regularly perform maintenance checks, use the grinder according to manufacturer guidelines, and avoid overloading the machine. Store the grinder in a dry, clean environment and replace worn parts promptly.
