To clean the detergent drawer, remove it by pulling it out gently. Wash it under warm water to remove any detergent residue. Ensure it's completely dry before reinserting it into the washing machine.
Check the drain hose for any blockages or kinks. Additionally, inspect the pump filter located at the bottom front of the machine and clean it if necessary. Ensure the drain hose is at the correct height and not submerged in water.
Ensure the washing machine is level and on a stable surface. Check that the load is balanced and items are evenly distributed in the drum. Avoid overloading the machine as this can increase noise levels.
Regularly wipe the door seal with a damp cloth after each use to remove any detergent or dirt build-up. Leave the door slightly open when not in use to allow air to circulate and prevent mold and mildew.
Run an empty wash cycle with a drum cleaner or 1 cup of white vinegar and a tablespoon of baking soda. Set the machine to the hottest wash cycle available to remove any residue or odors.
Ensure the door is properly closed and latched. Check that the water supply is turned on and the machine is plugged in. Verify that the selected program settings are correct and try resetting the machine by turning it off and on again.
Make sure the machine is level by adjusting its feet. Ensure the load is evenly distributed and that the washing machine is not overloaded. Check for any loose items in the drum that might cause imbalance.
Run a hot water wash cycle with a washing machine cleaner or a mixture of vinegar and baking soda. Clean the detergent drawer and door seal regularly, and leave the door open when not in use to allow for ventilation.
To reset error codes, turn the machine off and unplug it for a few minutes. Plug it back in and turn it on. If the error persists, refer to the user manual for specific troubleshooting steps related to the error code displayed.
Use a high-efficiency (HE) detergent suitable for front-loading washing machines. Follow the dosage instructions on the detergent packaging based on load size and soil level for optimal results.
