To clean the ceramic hob, first ensure the appliance is turned off and cool. Use a damp cloth with a mild detergent to wipe away spills. For stubborn stains, use a ceramic hob scraper and a specialized cleaner.
If the oven is not heating, check that it is properly connected to the power source. Ensure the circuit breaker hasn't tripped. If the issue persists, it might be a faulty heating element and you should contact a professional technician.
To change the clock settings, press the 'Clock' button until the clock symbol flashes. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the time. Confirm the setting by pressing the 'Clock' button again.
It is recommended to use flat-bottomed cookware made from materials like stainless steel or aluminum. Avoid using cookware with rough bases as they can scratch the hob surface.
To activate the child lock, press and hold the 'Lock' button for a few seconds until the lock icon appears on the display. This will prevent accidental operation.
If the control panel is unresponsive, try resetting the appliance by turning it off at the main power supply for a few minutes. If the problem continues, contact Beko customer support for assistance.
While cast iron pans can be used, they should be handled with care. Ensure the base is smooth to avoid scratching the ceramic surface and be cautious as they are heavy and can cause damage if dropped.
Regular maintenance checks should be performed every 6 months. This includes inspecting the power cord, checking for any signs of wear or damage, and ensuring the hob and oven are clean and functioning properly.
To remove burnt-on food, use a mixture of baking soda and water to form a paste. Apply it to the affected area and let it sit for a few hours before scrubbing with a non-abrasive pad. Rinse thoroughly.
A clicking noise is normal and is caused by the hob's temperature control mechanism. However, if the noise is excessive or inconsistent, you may need to consult a technician to check for underlying issues.
