To defrost the Beko FFP3579W, unplug the freezer, remove all food items, and leave the door open. Allow the ice to melt naturally or place a bowl of hot water inside to speed up the process. Clean and dry the interior before plugging it back in.
Check if the thermostat is set to the correct temperature. Ensure the freezer vents are not blocked. Verify that the door seals are clean and not damaged. If the problem persists, contact Beko customer service.
To change the door direction, first unplug the freezer. Remove the hinge covers and unscrew the hinges. Carefully detach the door and reattach it on the opposite side using the same screws and hinges. Ensure all screws are tightened securely.
Unplug the freezer before cleaning. Use a soft cloth with mild detergent and warm water to wipe the interior and exterior surfaces. Avoid abrasive cleaners. Dry thoroughly before plugging back in.
To reset the temperature alarm, press the alarm reset button on the control panel. Ensure the freezer door is closed properly and the temperature has stabilized.
After a power outage, check if the freezer is plugged in correctly and the power supply is restored. Wait for a few hours for the freezer to reach its normal operating temperature. Avoid opening the door frequently to maintain the temperature.
Unusual noises can be due to the freezer not being level, items inside vibrating, or the compressor working harder than usual. Make sure the freezer is on a stable surface and rearrange items to ensure they are not causing noise.
To maximize energy efficiency, keep the freezer full but not overcrowded, clean the condenser coils regularly, and ensure the door seals are intact. Set the thermostat to the recommended temperature and avoid frequent door openings.
The recommended temperature setting for optimal performance is -18°C (0°F). This ensures that food is stored safely and energy consumption is optimized.
Unplug the freezer before replacing the light bulb. Remove the light cover, unscrew the old bulb, and replace it with a new one of the same type and wattage. Reattach the light cover and plug the freezer back in.
