To start a drying cycle, load your laundry into the drum, close the door, select the desired program using the program selector dial, and press the start/pause button.
Ensure that the dryer is plugged in and the circuit breaker is not tripped. Make sure the door is completely closed and the start/pause button has been pressed.
After each cycle, open the dryer door, remove the lint filter, and clean it by hand or with a vacuum. Reinsert the filter before starting a new cycle.
Check if the lint filter is clogged, ensure the venting system is clear, and verify that the selected program matches the laundry load.
Regularly clean the lint filter, check and clean the venting system for any blockages, and occasionally wipe the drum and door seal with a damp cloth.
Turn the program selector dial to choose a different drying program. Program details are found in the user manual for specific fabric types and drying levels.
Stop the dryer, check for any foreign objects in the drum, ensure the dryer is level, and inspect the drum for any signs of damage.
Most fabrics can be dried using the appropriate program, but delicate fabrics should be dried using the special programs designed for them. Always check garment care labels.
Unplug the dryer from the power outlet, wait for a few minutes, and then plug it back in. This can reset the electronics in the unit.
Immediately stop using the dryer and unplug it. Check for lint buildup in the lint filter and venting system, and ensure no foreign objects are inside the drum. If the smell persists, contact a service technician.
