To defrost the freezer, first unplug the appliance. Remove all food items and place towels at the bottom to absorb water. Allow the ice to melt naturally. Avoid using sharp objects to remove ice. Once the ice has melted, clean the interior with a soft cloth.
Ensure that the temperature setting is correct. Check if the door seals are intact and free from obstructions. Clean the condenser coils at the back of the unit. Ensure proper air circulation inside the fridge by not overloading it.
First, disconnect the appliance from the power supply. Locate the light cover inside the refrigerator, usually at the top. Remove the cover and replace the bulb with a new one of the same specification. Reattach the cover and reconnect the power.
Water pooling can be due to a blocked defrost drain. Check and clean the drain hole located at the back of the fridge compartment. Ensure it is clear of debris to allow water to flow out.
It is recommended to clean the condenser coils every 6 to 12 months to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Place raw meat on the bottom shelf to prevent dripping onto other foods. Store dairy products and eggs in the main compartment instead of the door. Keep fruits and vegetables in the designated crisper drawers.
Locate the temperature control panel inside the fridge. Adjust the settings using the provided dial or buttons, typically marked with temperature indicators. Refer to the user manual for specific instructions.
Check if the appliance is level and stable. Ensure there are no items vibrating against the walls. Listen for compressor noise, which is normal, but if it is excessive, consider contacting a technician.
Keep the refrigerator away from heat sources and direct sunlight. Ensure the door seals are in good condition. Avoid frequent door opening and set the temperature to the manufacturer’s recommended settings.
Regularly clean the interior and exterior surfaces. Check and clean the door seals. Defrost the freezer if ice buildup occurs. Ensure the condenser coils are clean and free of dust.
