To change the temperature settings, locate the temperature control knob inside the fridge compartment. Turn the knob clockwise to lower the temperature and counterclockwise to increase it.
First, ensure that the appliance is plugged in and switched on. Check the thermostat setting and adjust if necessary. Make sure the doors are closing properly and that the door seals are clean and undamaged.
The Beko CFP1691B is a frost-free model, so manual defrosting is not necessary. However, if you notice a build-up of ice, check the door seals and ensure the doors are closing properly.
The water may be due to a blocked defrost drain. Unplug the appliance and locate the drain hole at the back of the fridge compartment. Use a pipe cleaner or similar tool to clear any blockage.
Ensure that the appliance is level and stable on the floor. Check that it is not in contact with the wall or other surfaces, which can cause vibrations and noise.
Regularly clean the interior and exterior surfaces with a mild detergent and warm water. Check and clean door seals to ensure they are free from food particles and debris. Every few months, vacuum the condenser coils to improve efficiency.
Unplug the appliance. Locate the light cover inside the fridge and remove it. Unscrew the old bulb and replace it with a new one of the same type and wattage. Reattach the light cover and plug the appliance back in.
Check the temperature setting and adjust if necessary. Make sure the freezer door is closing properly and that the door seals are intact. Avoid overloading the freezer, as this can affect air circulation and temperature control.
Keep strong-smelling foods in airtight containers. Regularly clean the interior with baking soda and warm water. Place an open box of baking soda in the fridge to absorb odors.
A buzzing sound can be normal as the appliance operates, especially during the defrost cycle. However, if the noise is excessive or continuous, check for loose components or contact Beko customer support for further assistance.
