To defrost the freezer, unplug the appliance and remove all food items. Leave the freezer door open to allow the ice to melt naturally. Use towels to absorb water. Clean and dry the interior before restarting.
Check if the temperature settings are correct. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the fridge. Examine the door seals for any gaps. If the issue persists, contact a qualified technician.
Locate the thermostat dial inside the fridge compartment. Adjust the dial to a higher number for a colder temperature or a lower number for a warmer temperature.
Clean the exterior and interior every three months. Check and clean the door seals monthly. Defrost the freezer every six months and inspect the appliance for any signs of wear or damage regularly.
Unusual noises may be due to the appliance being unlevel. Ensure it is on a flat surface. Check if any items inside are vibrating against each other. If noises continue, consult a technician.
Unplug the appliance. Locate the condenser coils at the back. Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to gently remove dust and debris from the coils.
Check if the bulb is securely screwed in. If the bulb is burnt out, replace it with a new one of the same type. If the light still does not work, check the door switch or consult a technician.
Keep the fridge and freezer compartments full but not overcrowded. Ensure the door seals are intact. Avoid placing the appliance near heat sources and set the temperature to the recommended settings.
Place raw meat and poultry on the bottom shelf to prevent drips. Store fruits and vegetables in the crisper drawers. Use airtight containers for leftovers and label them with dates for easy tracking.
After power is restored, check the temperature settings and adjust if necessary. Allow the appliance some time to stabilize to the desired temperature. Ensure no food items are blocking the vents inside.
