To defrost the freezer, first unplug the refrigerator. Remove all food items and place towels at the base to catch water. Leave the door open to allow the ice to melt naturally. Once defrosted, clean the interior and dry it thoroughly before plugging back in.
Check if the temperature setting is correct. Ensure the vents inside the refrigerator are not blocked by food items. If the problem persists, inspect the door seals for any gaps or damages. Clean the condenser coils located at the back of the unit.
First, unplug the refrigerator. Locate the light cover inside the fridge and remove it. Unscrew the old bulb and replace it with a new one of the same type and wattage. Reattach the light cover and plug the refrigerator back in.
The ideal temperature setting is 37°F (3°C) for the refrigerator compartment and 0°F (-18°C) for the freezer compartment. Adjust the settings as needed depending on the ambient temperature and load.
Noises can be due to the refrigerator not being level, items inside vibrating, or the compressor running. Check the level of the refrigerator, ensure items inside are not touching each other, and consider the normal operational sounds of the appliance.
It is recommended to clean the condenser coils every six months to ensure optimal performance. Use a vacuum cleaner or a brush to remove dust and debris from the coils.
Inspect the door gasket for any debris or damage. Clean the gasket with warm, soapy water and ensure it is dry. Check for obstructions inside the freezer that may prevent the door from closing fully.
To activate holiday mode, press the function button on the control panel until the holiday mode indicator lights up. This mode keeps the freezer running normally while maintaining a higher temperature in the fridge to save energy.
Ensure the ice maker is turned on and the water supply line is connected. Check if the water filter is clogged and replace it if necessary. Verify that the freezer is cold enough to produce ice.
Keep the refrigerator away from heat sources and direct sunlight. Ensure the door seals are intact and the doors are closed properly. Avoid overloading the refrigerator and allow adequate space for air circulation.
