To connect the Behringer Model D to your audio interface, use a 1/4 inch TS cable from the Model D's main output to an input on your audio interface. Ensure the interface is set to the correct input level and that monitoring is enabled.
To calibrate the oscillators, allow the Model D to warm up for about 15 minutes. Use a tuner to adjust the tuning trimmers on the back panel until each oscillator is in tune across several octaves.
To perform a factory reset, power off the unit, then hold down the 'A-440' switch while turning the power back on. This will reset the settings to factory defaults.
First, check all cable connections and ensure the power supply is connected. Verify that the volume is turned up and the filter is open. Test with a different cable or audio interface input if necessary.
Connect the MIDI out from your external device to the MIDI in on the Model D. Ensure both devices are set to the same MIDI channel and that the Model D is set to receive external clock signals if necessary.
Regularly dust the exterior and keep the unit in a clean, dry environment. Periodically check all connections for wear and ensure the power supply is functioning correctly.
Yes, the Model D can be used with a modular setup. It has CV inputs and outputs for pitch, filter, and volume, allowing integration with other modular gear.
To access the extended range of the LFO, use the 'Low' switch to slow down the LFO rate further, allowing for slower modulation effects.
Ensure the unit is adequately warmed up before playing. If instability persists, calibrate the oscillators and check for any external temperature changes affecting the unit.
Set the oscillators to a sawtooth wave, adjust the filter cutoff to a low setting, and increase the resonance slightly. Use the envelope to shape the sound with a fast attack and medium decay.
