To set up the Aztech WIPC410, connect the camera to a power source and your router via Ethernet cable. Download the Aztech app on your smartphone, create an account, and follow the on-screen instructions to add the camera to your network.
Ensure that your Wi-Fi network is functioning and that the camera is within range. Check that the Wi-Fi credentials entered are correct. Restart both the router and the camera. If issues persist, try a factory reset and set up the camera again.
To access the live feed remotely, ensure that the camera is connected to the internet. Open the Aztech app on your smartphone, log in with your account, and select the camera from the device list to view the live feed.
Check for firmware updates in the Aztech app under the camera settings. If an update is available, follow the prompts to download and install the update. Ensure the camera remains powered on and connected to the internet during the update.
In the Aztech app, go to the camera settings and enable motion detection. Adjust the sensitivity settings as needed and ensure notifications are enabled to receive alerts on your smartphone.
Check the camera lens for dirt or smudges and clean it gently with a microfiber cloth. Ensure the camera is positioned with adequate lighting. Also, verify the camera's video quality settings in the app and adjust as necessary.
The Aztech WIPC410 is designed for indoor use only. Using it outdoors can expose it to weather conditions that may affect its performance and void the warranty.
To reset the camera, locate the reset button on the device. Press and hold the button for about 10 seconds until the camera restarts. This will restore all settings to factory defaults.
The Aztech WIPC410 supports local storage via a microSD card (up to 64GB) and cloud storage options available through the Aztech app subscription service.
Ensure the night vision mode is enabled in the app settings. Check that the camera is placed in a dark environment to trigger night vision. If issues persist, restart the camera or perform a factory reset.
