The Alpine PWE-S8 should be connected to a 12V battery source, ideally using a dedicated power line directly from the battery to ensure optimal performance and avoid voltage drops.
The bass level can be adjusted using the included remote bass control knob. Simply turn the knob clockwise to increase the bass level and counterclockwise to decrease it.
Check the power connections, ensuring the remote turn-on wire and ground connections are secure. Verify the fuse is not blown and inspect the inline fuse holder for any signs of damage.
The PWE-S8 can be mounted using the included brackets and screws. Choose a secure, flat location in your vehicle to minimize vibrations and ensure stability.
The PWE-S8 has both RCA and speaker-level inputs, allowing for compatibility with a wide range of head units and audio systems.
Ensure the ground wire is connected to a clean, paint-free metal surface. Additionally, keep audio signal cables away from power cables to reduce interference.
The frequency response of the Alpine PWE-S8 is 32Hz to 150Hz, providing a deep and rich bass experience.
The Alpine PWE-S8 is not designed for marine use. It should be installed in a dry, non-exposed environment to prevent damage from moisture and salt.
Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface of the PWE-S8. Avoid using water or cleaning solutions that might enter the enclosure and damage the internal components.
Utilize the speaker-level inputs by connecting the PWE-S8 directly to the speaker wires of the factory stereo. This allows integration without the need for RCA outputs.
