To adjust the temperature, locate the thermostat dial inside the refrigerator compartment. Turn the dial clockwise to lower the temperature and counterclockwise to increase it. Allow 24 hours for the temperature to stabilize after adjustment.
First, check if the refrigerator is plugged in and the thermostat is set correctly. Ensure that the door seals are clean and not damaged. If the issue persists, inspect the condenser coils for dust buildup and clean them if necessary.
The AGA ADZ60 Refrigerator is frost-free, so manual defrosting is not required. However, if you notice ice buildup, check the door seals and ensure the door is closing properly.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the condenser coils every six months, checking and cleaning the door seals, and ensuring the drain hole inside the fridge is clear from obstructions.
To change the light bulb, unplug the refrigerator and locate the bulb cover inside the compartment. Remove the cover and unscrew the old bulb. Replace it with a new bulb of the same type and wattage, then reattach the cover.
Unusual noises can be caused by uneven placement. Ensure the refrigerator is level. Check for any objects touching the back of the refrigerator that might be causing vibrations. If the noise persists, contact a technician.
Check if the drain hole inside the refrigerator is blocked and clear it if necessary. Ensure the drip pan underneath the refrigerator is not full. Check door seals for damage and ensure the door is closing properly.
To maximize energy efficiency, keep the refrigerator away from heat sources, ensure adequate ventilation around it, keep the door closed as much as possible, and set the thermostat to the recommended setting.
It is recommended to let hot food cool to room temperature before placing it in the refrigerator. Placing hot food directly can raise the internal temperature and cause the refrigerator to work harder to cool down.
To clean the interior, unplug the refrigerator and remove all food items. Use a mixture of mild soap and water to wipe down the walls and shelves. Rinse with a clean damp cloth and dry thoroughly before replacing food items.
