For optimal performance, use SAE 0W-20 viscosity oil that meets the API certification seal for your 2015 Acura TLX. Always check your owner's manual for specific recommendations.
To pair your smartphone, enable Bluetooth on your device. On the TLX's display, select 'Phone,' then 'Bluetooth Device List,' and 'Add Bluetooth Device.' Follow the prompts to pair your phone with the system.
First, ensure the vehicle is in an area with clear GPS signal. Check for any updates or reset the system by holding the power button for several seconds. If issues persist, consult the dealership for further diagnostics.
If the check engine light illuminates, ensure the gas cap is tightly secured as a loose cap can trigger the light. If the light remains on, schedule a diagnostic check with your dealership or a qualified mechanic.
Open the glove box and remove the dampener arm. Press the sides inward to lower the glove box. Locate the cabin air filter cover, unlatch it, and slide out the old filter. Insert the new filter, ensuring it is oriented correctly, and reassemble.
It is recommended to change the transmission fluid every 30,000 to 60,000 miles, depending on driving conditions. Refer to the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual for specific intervals.
Open the hood and locate the brake fluid reservoir. Ensure the vehicle is on a level surface. Check the fluid level against the markings on the reservoir. If low, add the recommended brake fluid type and avoid overfilling.
To activate remote start, press the lock button on your key fob, then press and hold the engine start button until the engine starts. This feature allows you to start the car remotely under certain conditions.
Turn off the engine and open the hood. Locate the back of the headlight assembly, remove the electrical connector, and unlock the bulb retaining clip. Remove the old bulb and replace it with a new one, ensuring it's secure. Reattach the connector.
